Hi June,
A great article that really captures the difficulties and frustrations of living and coping with this disease. I didn't know about the gym membership. The whole story is so tragic. Brought tears to my eyes.
I loved Thomas' comment: He's been my dad, like, all my life! I'm so glad they quoted him, to get the kid perspective, too.
I had to keep reminding myself that "Mrs. Shin" is YOU, and not your mother-in-law.
I've sent the link along to my family in Hawaii and to the rest of our wedding party. I hope you hear from them soon.
Take care, and feel free to call if there's anything we can do.

Aloha, Tane!
I too had no idea of what was going on, or at least to the extent of how bad it really is.
I have enjoyed reading Terry's segments of the Caravan stories (assuming he is lostthenfound) and his hanging out with his friends and cruising to the songs of Billy Joel!
Sounds like they were great times.
