Hi June,
Just wondering, what kind of wheelchair are you looking at?
Is there anything special or unique about the one Michael requires, or is it more of a tool to get him from point A to point B?
Obviously you want one that has the foot rests and is in very good condition and one that will fold / collapse for easy transporting.
Maybe someone out here has one that they no longer require and can pass it on to you?

Hi Nisei Fisherman, Michael right now needs a wheelchair that he can get from A to B. He propels himself with his feet since he can't use his hands on the wheels. Since he has FTD plus a form of ALS, he will need a special chair that can support his head and tilt his body for future needs. Just this week I got a call and they have found a chair that can be loaned to us - actually someone screwed up (hopefully not me) and Michael actually has 2 chairs at the moment. Thanks for thinking of us but I think we're covered for wheelchairs now. Are you going fishing soon, Nisei Fisherman?

Hi June,
It sounds like yo have the wheelchair situation under control, that is great news.
Congrats to Erica and her team mates!
As for my fishing.....I would love to be out on a boat somewhere off the coast of Vancouver hauling in some nice salmon! But for now I am just resting my tired bones.
Take care!
